Senior Women Can Rise to Meet the Challenge in May, National Women’s Health Week

For some senior women, rising to meet personal challenges is easy. A decision is made and the challenge is met. But for other women personal challenges are hijacked by internal thinking that stops them cold. And to gain traction some form of outside motivation is needed. Well get ready!
Coming in May a weeklong health confab will begin for women. From May 10th to the 16th, the Office of Women’s Health (OWH) of the Department of Health and Human Services has declared National Women’s Health Week. During the entire week women of all ages are encouraged to make their personal health a top priority.
Women are challenged by the theme “It’s Your Time,” to take personal action and find simple but effective ways to live longer, improve overall health and discover a happier life. And to live healthier and happier, some core first step recommendations are:
The challenge for every woman is to discover within your self the motivation to stay actively engaged every single day of the year. Set personal goals, reward yourself for staying on track and find friends to declare your intentions and share the journey to a healthier and happier life.
